Homemade Curry Leaves Hair Oil for Fast Hair Growth-Premature Greying

Curry leaves known as “kadi patta” in Hindi, “karuvepillai” in Tamil is commonly used in Indian cuisine. But today we are going to see how to make hair oil with curry leaves. Curry leaves oil (karuvepillai ennai) is very effecting in treating many hair related problems. Making curry leaves oil at home is very easy. This oil smells good and is very effective in preventing hair fall.  how to make curry leaves oil at home to prevent hair loss and premature greying.




Ingredients needed

   Coconut Oil – 1 cup
   Curry leaves – 1/4 cup firmly packed
   Fenugreek seeds – 1 tsp

Preparation


Wash curry leaves, pat it dry and spread it on a cloth to dry in shade. There should be no moisture in the curry leaves.

Grind curry leaves without adding water. It need not be a paste. You can also add the leaves as such.

Method

  • Heat a cup of coconut oil, add a tsp of fenugreek seeds and curry leaves.
  • Cook on medium low heat stirring continuously.
  • When the bubbling subsides and the leaves turn crisp, turn off the heat. Leave it to cool.
  • Let the leaves remain in oil overnight.
  • Then filter it and store it in a clean bottle. Curry leaves oil is ready to use.

How to use Curry leaves oil

  • Take some oil and apply it on your entire scalp using your finger tips.
  • Remain for an hour, then wash your hair normally using shampoo or homemade herbal shampoo.
  • This can be down twice a week.
  • This oil is safe and can be used for daily application also.
